File preparation requirements

Please make sure all files are compressed (zip, sit, bin, etc.)

Whenever possible, please send graphic files as original file types (jpeg, tif, etc.)
instead of sending them inside of a layout program (Word, Powerpoint etc.)

Vector Images (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand)
should be exported as eps with all fonts converted to curves/outlines. All transparencies must be flattened.

Raster Images (photos etc.)
Raster images should be “at size” and minimum 300 dpi. This means that, if the final printed image is going to be 4” wide and 3” high, then the image must be minimum 4” wide and 3” high and 300 dpi.
Resolution can not be “faked”. Converting a 4” x 3” 72 dpi file into a 4” x 3” 300 dpi file does not work!
If you have any questions about the appropriateness of your files for print, send your best file type and we’ll contact you and let you know!

See guide to raster and vector images here

Text files
Text files can be sent as Word, TXT, or RTF (Please compress files).
